For most people in the UAE, Saudi Arabia has meant one thing for decades. Makkah, Madinah, and the trip you save for. That is still the heart of it. But the country has quietly opened a second door, and behind it are sandstone canyons in AlUla, a Red Sea coast with untouched reefs, and a Riyadh skyline going up faster than anyone expected.

Both versions are worth your time. A trip to Saudi Arabia now works as a spiritual journey, a sightseeing week, or a combination of the two, and we build all three from Dubai.

Umrah From Dubai

This remains the reason most of our clients travel. Flights from Dubai to Jeddah run under three hours, and Madinah is a direct hop too.

Our Umrah packages cover return flights, hotels within walking distance of the Haram where availability allows, ground transfers between the two holy cities, and visa processing. We are honest about hotel distance rather than describing a twenty-minute walk as “close by”. In summer heat, that difference matters more than the room.

Group departures suit families travelling together. Private arrangements suit anyone who wants their own pace and vehicle.

AlUla, Riyadh and Jeddah

The tourism side of a Saudi Arabia tour package from Dubai looks completely different.

  • AlUla, with Hegra, the Nabataean tombs cut into rock, and Maraya, the mirrored concert hall in the desert
  • Riyadh, for Diriyah, the National Museum and the Edge of the World cliffs outside the city
  • Jeddah, for Al Balad’s coral stone houses and the corniche at sunset
  • Taif, cooler and greener, known for its rose farms
  • The Red Sea coast for diving and quiet beaches

Hegra gets compared to Petra constantly, usually by people who have not been. It is quieter, less crowded, and you often stand at a tomb facade with nobody else in frame.

SAUDI

What Our Packages Include

We handle flights from Dubai, Sharjah or Abu Dhabi, hotel bookings, internal transport, guides and Saudi visa processing for UAE residents. Domestic flights between Jeddah, Riyadh and AlUla are booked as needed, since driving those distances eats days.

For a combined trip to Saudi Arabia, we usually suggest Umrah first, then AlUla or Jeddah after. Doing it in that order feels right to most travellers.

Visas and Practical Notes

The Saudi tourist e-visa is straightforward for UAE residents and now permits Umrah for eligible travellers. Requirements do shift, so we confirm your position before you book flights. Details are on our Saudi visa page.

A few things worth knowing. Makkah and Madinah are open to Muslim travellers only. Modest dress is expected throughout the country, though abayas are no longer required for visiting women. October to March brings comfortable weather. Ramadan is spiritually powerful in the holy cities but extremely busy, so book months ahead.

Planning It With HAB Tourism

We work around your dates, budget and pace rather than pushing a fixed itinerary. Families, first-time pilgrims and sightseeing travellers all get different planning, and we will tell you plainly when a schedule is too tight to be enjoyable.

Every Saudi Arabia tour package from Dubai we quote lists what is included, so you are not discovering extra costs at the airport.

Browse our wider tour packages from Dubai or our full visa services if paperwork comes first. Send us your dates and traveller count, and we will prepare a quote.
