• Country : NEWZELAND
  • Visa Type : Tourist

New Zealand is the long haul that people keep putting off, and then never regret. Around sixteen to seventeen hours in the air, a country with fewer people than the UAE spread across two islands, and scenery that shifts from geothermal steam to glacial fjords in the space of a day’s drive.

The distance is the whole reason to plan it properly. A rushed week does not work here. Anyone flying from the UAE to New Zealand should be thinking in terms of ten days minimum, and honestly fourteen is where the trip starts breathing.

Why It Needs Time

Distances look small on a map and behave differently on the road. Auckland to Queenstown is a flight, not a drive. Milford Sound is four hours from Queenstown each way and worth every minute of it. Build in three cities and a fjord in seven days and you spend the holiday watching road signs.

Our New Zealand holiday packages from Dubai are built around that reality. We slow the pace deliberately and say so upfront when someone’s dream itinerary will not fit their leave days.

The Route That Works

North Island first, usually.

  • Auckland for the harbour, Waiheke Island wineries and a soft landing after the flight
  • Rotorua for geysers, bubbling mud pools and Maori cultural evenings
  • Hobbiton for anyone who grew up on the films, and plenty of people who did not
  • Wellington for the harbour city and Te Papa museum

Then south, where the landscape takes over.

  • Queenstown for lakes, gondolas and the adrenaline sports if you want them
  • Milford Sound for sheer cliffs, waterfalls and boat cruises through the fjord
  • Franz Josef and Fox glaciers, with helicopter landings on clear days
  • Christchurch and the Canterbury plains on the way out

Bungee jumping started in Queenstown, so if you are ever going to do it, that is the place.

What Our Packages Cover

Return flights from Dubai with one stop, hotels or lodges, internal domestic flights, rental cars or private transfers, guided excursions, and visa processing support for UAE residents. Self-drive suits confident drivers and is genuinely the best way to see the South Island. Guided coach options exist for travellers who would rather not manage the roads.

NEWZELAND

Visas and Timing

Most nationalities living in the UAE need a visitor visa for New Zealand, and it is not a same-week process. Start eight to ten weeks before you fly. Requirements and processing times change, so we confirm your case first. Our New Zealand visa page covers the details.

Seasons run opposite to ours. December to February is their summer and the busiest period. March to May brings autumn colour and thinner crowds, which many travellers prefer. June to August is ski season in Queenstown. Roads in the South Island can close in deep winter, so we plan around it.

Planning With HAB Tourism

We build the itinerary around your dates, budget and driving comfort rather than selling a template. Honeymooners, families and photography-focused travellers all need different pacing, and we will tell you plainly when a plan is too ambitious.

Look through our other tour packages from Dubai or our full visa services if paperwork comes first. Send your dates and traveller count, and we will prepare a quote.
