There is no interview for a UK visitor visa. That sounds like good news until you understand what it means. Nobody will ask you to explain the gap in your bank statement, clarify who is paying for the trip, or confirm that you really are coming back to Dubai. A caseworker reads what you submitted, forms a view, and writes a decision. You get one chance to make the case, in writing, before anyone looks at it.
That is why the document pack matters more here than almost anywhere else. HAB Tourism builds it from our office in Al Garhoud.
HAB Tourism processes UK Standard Visitor visa applications from Dubai. Our service starts from AED 1,390 per person, with typical processing of 15 to 21 working days after biometrics.
The UK decides by passport, not by where you live. Your UAE residency strengthens your case, but it does not determine which route you use.
Emirati passport holders do not need a visitor visa for short trips. You do need an Electronic Travel Authorisation before you fly, applied for through the UK ETA app or the government website. It is quick and there is no biometric appointment, but airlines now check it at the gate, so it cannot be left to the airport.
Expatriate residents apply for the Standard Visitor visa according to their own nationality. This covers tourism, visiting family and friends, and short business trips such as meetings and conferences, for stays of up to six months.
If you are unsure which applies to you, send us your passport details and we will confirm before you spend anything.
Your residency in the Emirates is an asset in this application, provided you evidence it properly. A caseworker is asking one question throughout: is there a real life in Dubai that this person is returning to?
The usual pack includes:
The list is not the hard part. The framing is. Bank statements that show a lump sum deposited a week before applying raise more questions than a modest but steady balance. A tenancy contract in your name says more about your intention to return than any sentence in a cover letter. We arrange the pack so those points land without the caseworker having to hunt for them.

The UK government charges its own visa fee, paid online at the time of submission and revised periodically. Our AED 1,390 service fee is separate from it. Priority and super priority options are available at extra government cost when your dates are tight, and we will tell you whether they are worth paying for in your case.
Refusals from Dubai cluster around three things, and none of them are exotic. Funds that do not clearly belong to the applicant or cannot be explained. A stated purpose that the supporting documents do not actually back up. Ties to the UAE that are asserted rather than evidenced.
The fourth, quieter one is inconsistency. A travel date on the form that does not match the flight booking, an employer name spelled two ways, an income figure that does not reconcile with the statements. None of these are dishonest. All of them cost credibility with someone who has only paper to go on.
If you have been refused before, bring us the refusal letter. It sets out the reasons, and a reapplication that does not address them directly tends to fail the same way twice.
