Australia Tourist Visa From Dubai, Prepared the Way the Case Officer Wants to Read It

Australia is one of the harder visas to get from the UAE, and the reason is rarely the traveller. It is the file. A case officer sitting in Australia has never met you, cannot call your manager, and decides on the documents alone. If the paperwork does not show a clear reason to come back to Dubai, the answer is no. HAB Tourism builds that file properly, from our office in Al Garhoud.

In short: HAB Tourism processes Australia tourist visa applications from Dubai under the Visitor visa subclass 600. Our service starts from AED 1,349 per person, with typical processing of 10 to 20 working days.

The Visa You Will Be Applying For

Most UAE residents travelling to Australia need the Visitor visa subclass 600, which covers tourism, holidays and visits to family and friends. Depending on your circumstances, it is usually granted for stays of 3, 6 or 12 months.

There are other routes, but they do not apply to most people here. The ETA is limited to holders of certain passports, and UAE passport holders are not eligible for it, though residents of Dubai carrying an eligible European, British, American or Canadian passport may qualify. We check which route fits you before anything is filed.

We also handle the business stream for meetings and conferences, and sponsored family visits where a relative in Australia supports the application.

The Australian Visa Application Form, Handled From Dubai

There is no paper form to queue up and hand over. The subclass 600 application is completed online through an ImmiAccount on the Department of Home Affairs website, with all supporting documents uploaded and the visa application charge paid online. That sounds simple until you open it. The form asks for previous travel history, family details, employment history, funds, accommodation, and your reasons for visiting, and an inconsistent answer between two sections is enough to raise doubt.

Our team fills the form with you, matches every answer to the documents you have supplied, and uploads the file in the format the department expects. You do not need to build an account or guess at the wording.

Biometrics and What Happens After Submission

Once the application is lodged, you will usually be asked to attend a biometrics appointment at a VFS Global centre in the UAE for fingerprints and a photograph, and processing does not move forward until that is done. We book the slot and tell you what to bring.

One thing that surprises first-time applicants: there is no sticker in your passport. Australian visas are fully electronic, and the grant notice arrives by email. Save it on your phone and print a copy for the airline desk.

Documents That Actually Decide the Outcome

The basic list is short. Passport with at least six months validity, a recent photograph, a copy of your UAE residence visa and Emirates ID, and your travel plan.

The list that changes the decision is longer. Bank statements need to show steady, believable activity rather than a lump sum parked a week before applying, and the file has to prove genuine ties to the UAE through your job, family, property or residency. A salary certificate or trade licence, confirmed accommodation, and a clear itinerary all support the same argument: that you are going for a holiday and coming home afterwards.

Some nationalities have extra requirements. Pakistani passport holders, for example, are asked for a police verification certificate. We confirm your exact list before you start collecting anything.

Costs and Timing

Our service fee starts from AED 1,349 per person. Separately, the Australian government charges its own visa application fee in Australian dollars, paid online at the time of submission, and that amount is revised periodically. Biometrics carry a small charge at the visa centre, and a medical examination adds cost in the cases where one is requested.

Processing usually runs 10 to 20 working days, though it stretches during peak season and slows further if the department asks for extra documents. Apply six to eight weeks before you plan to travel. Booking non-refundable flights before the visa is granted is a gamble we would rather you did not take.

Honest Assessment Before You Pay

Australia refuses applications that look financially thin or short on ties to the UAE, and the government fee is not returned when that happens. So we look at your case first. If your salary, bank history, or residency status makes approval unlikely right now, we will tell you and suggest what to fix, or point you toward a destination where your file is strong today.
