鷺舞（さぎまい）は白絹の羽を纏い、雌雄の鷺に扮した成人男性の舞い手2人が囃子に合わせて優雅に舞い踊る郷土芸能。巡行では各自朱傘を差しかけられ、一列になって囃子方の前を歩く。神幸祭の7月17日、花傘巡行・当時の八坂神社の名誉宮司作詞の歌詞を元に1968年に創作。禿は和装ではあるが無冠かつ薄化粧で現れ、かつ稚児社参後であるが地上を歩き、この日から16日まで非公式に八坂神社を参拝するが、この時も薄化粧で地上を歩く。
